I Have had an unreal week in Santa Barbara hanging out with some Maui friends and surfing and SUP at surf spots in Santa Barbara county such as Leadbetters, Sands beach, and Jalama.

Yesterday I met up with Warren the number one Starboard SUP distributer for the US, and he took me and my friend Sean from Maui and his roommate Chris, to Leadbetters and even had demo boards for them to use. We were all having a good time even though it was so small!

Randomly on the beach I saw Matt Prichard and his family cruising, I went and talked story with them for a bit, really nice to see him and his family including his 14 month old soon!

This Morning Wardog (Warren) woke me up at 5 AM for a dawn patrol session at Jalama Beach. It was really fun, with some head high waves. I was stoked to get out in the water and surf!

Making it out of Jalama's shore break can be pretty difficult. Once you get out, the waves are really, there are many different right peaks.
