Beach Cleanup at Ravine Blanche
Aloha All!

The Wave Classic group and I have been having a blast sailing, exploring and meeting locals.
Yesterday we did a beach clean up at one of the event sites, Ravine Blanche, and we had a big group of people supporting it and having fun while cleaning up their local spot! Ravine Blanche is like the Ho'okipa of La Reunion, not in the fact of conditions, but because it is where all the sailers meet everyday for a session and its their "home break".

The island of La Reunion is so beautiful and it is a pity to see trash such as plastic, bottles, cans and tires on the beach, blowing into the ocean. This is a sort of time capsule to see what can happen to a beautiful place if you can not malama "take care" and throw away your trash. But with the help of some friends and good organization from the Wave Classic and Pierre Godet, a local of Reunion island, we managed to clean up the beach!
