Wind Festival Hood River 6/26 - 6/27 Windsurf and Stand Up competition, and Kids Clinic put on by Zane Schweitzer

The Wind Fest is a event where water-sport companies such as Starboard, Dakine, and North Sails come down to Hood river and put up a booth where people can come by and demo equipment and buy products. There is also a windsurf event called the Blow out that is conjoined with the wind fest, it is a 17 mile downwinder that ends at the event site! There was also a Stand up Paddle competition that was 7 miles finishing at the event site. Katie Crafts the president of the CGWA (Columbia River Gorge Windsurf Association) put on the Wind Festival and asked me to put on an all age kids clinic for Windsurfing and Stand Up Paddling and I was stoked to do this!

Big Mahalos to Starboard, North Sails, Dakine, and Severne for donating equipment for the kids to learn on and for me to use while I taught!
