New years morning, day, and night
Aloha everybody, Hauoli Makahiki Hou, Feliz Año Nuevo,
The first three days of the competition were canceled due to NO wind at all at Ancon Bay.
We have been sleeping in, wake boarding, surfing, Stand up paddling, partying, playing volley ball on the beach, and pretty much everything besides windsurfing..
Every day we will wake up, look at the ocean and clouds and know that there will be no wind for the day, but we still have to wait till 5:30 for the contest to be officially canceled.
8:00 in the morning waiting for the first announcement.
Going to a surf spot across the bay.
All of the white and red thing you see are huge jelly fish, some of them were up to 5 feet long. We saw them on the way to the surf spot.
There was so much fog that we almost got lost getting to the surf spot and coming home from the surf spot.
This is a picture we took before we jumped into the water. When in the line up, the swells would roll out from the fog. We couldn't even see the boat!
This was New years eve..
Hi Honey; I am so bummed that there hasn't been any wind! But I am glad you are having fun surfing, wakeboarding, SUP, and
meeting lots of people. Let's keep our fingers crossed that the wind comes up for the last day of competition.

And I was just on your website and you still haven't added your 07 & 08 results.
1st in Japan, 2 in Spain, 2nd at the Gorge, 1st in Italy... Be sure and add them. Love, Mom
