Bonaire July 20/21
Connor and I sailed for 8 hours yesterday with our Bonaire friends Jager, Andrew, and Hendrick.

We have learned so much in the last two days.
Today we woke up at 6.30 and went snorkeling. It was so beautiful, and full of fish.
Heres the bad news: Unfortunately I got a bad staff infection and had to go to the hospital today because it created a big boil beneath my skin and was spreading through my arm..
So doctor cut it out and I will need to get it checked again tomorrow. He said i shouldn't sail today, but I will be okay to sail the day after. Connor and I needed a break to rest and see more of the island and set up for tonights party.
The weird thing is that I got it before Bonaire.

Hi Honey; We are so sorry to hear that you have a staph infection. Dad says to be careful and let yourself heal, your health is more important than a good day in the ocean!! I have had a staph infection too (from Launiopoko).

Staph is vert serious these days!!! don't rush getting back in the water. They should be treating you w/ a big sulfer anti biotic. This will burn the staph out of your blood stream. We all love you so much please be careful.

Loved seeing your handsome face on skype. That has been such an amazing communication with your family. The next couple of days try to catch up on some rest this may be an unexpected needed break. Drink fresh lemon juice twice a day and you will heal quickly then say, "Donde esta la playa?"

better soon! It sucks you have to go through so much pain and trouble, but keep thinking postively! You can get through anything! We can't wait to see you, hopefully you'll be feeling AMAZING and can stay all week!
