June 17, 2007 Still in Italy!!
Results of the Tandem; 1) Connor Baxter and Laura Porcella 2) Pietro Porcella and a boy who was about nine 3) Niccolo Porcella and Gaia Porcella 4)Zane Schweitzer and Ricardo 5) Ashley Baxter and Brando Pacitto
At the Awards ceremony Pietro announced the waterman trophy. To earn the waterman trophy you needed to have a good overall in the four disciplines. Waterman award went to Zane Schweitzer and Niccolo Porcella.
After the Awards we had to pack, switch hotels, help take down banners and signs for the competition, and go to a different city for the night.
Way to go Zane. We are so proud of you and glad to hear that you are having fun with Connor and his sister, Ashley. We are looking forward to seeing more photos. Austin says hi.

Aloha Zane, hope this is the correct way to e-mail you! We miss you and hope that you are having an awesome trip. Your Mom and Dad were over for dinner last night and told us that you were doing great with some first place finishes. Congrats! You are not missing anything here, the swells have been super small. Slater is doing a stand up contest on Oahu in a couple of weekends. We will keep checking your website for info, its fun to see the photos and read about your adventures.
